About Bernard P Hagan
An accomplished San Francisco real estate professional, Bernard P. Hagan recently passed away at the age of 88. He owned and operated Hagan Construction and Development for more than 40 years, constructing a range of condominium and apartment complexes throughout the Bay Area. While spearheading these development efforts, Bernard P. Hagan served presidential tenures with both the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and the San Francisco-San Mateo Building Industry Association. He also sat on the board of directors of the California Building Industry Association.
Outside of the professional arena, Bernard P. Hagan was actively involved in a number of philanthropic and community outreach activities. After serving on the Catholic Charities of San Francisco board of directors for 15 years, the organization named a CYO Camp dining hall in his honor. To recognize Bernard Hagan's generous financial donations to the University of San Francisco, the campus’ Koret Health and Recreation Center contains a gymnasium that bears the Hagan family name.
